Behold the Dreamers

Jul 15, 2017 | Fiction Books

I truly enjoyed reading Behold the Dreamers by Imbolo Mbue. The writing is so smooth, it flows from page to page effortlessly. The story explores how individuals experience and respond to situations (in this case, wealth, immigration, poverty, marriage, America) in their own unique way. I found myself alternately liking and disliking just about every character as the ideals and realities of human nature continued to unfold with each chapter.
